【摘要】:Theresultsobtainedbythistestmethodmayserveasaguidein,butnotasthesolebasisfor,predictingthepossibleperformanceoftheparticularglass-fiber-reinforcedthermosettingresinlaminateintheone-sideexposuretothespecificenvironmentunderevaluation.Noattempthasbeenmadetoincorporateintothetestmethodallofthefactorsthatmayenterintotheserviceabilityofaglass-fiber-reinforcedresinstructurewhensubjectedtochemicalenvironments.Thistestmethodprovidesforthedeterminationofchangesinthephysicalpropertiesofthetestpanelandtestmediaduringandaftertheone-sideexposureinthetestmedia.Determinationofchangesinclude:Barcolhardness,appearanceofpanel,appearanceoftestmedia,flexuralproperties,andthickness.1.1Thistestmethodisintendedforuseintheevaluationofthechemicalresistanceoffiberglass-reinforcedthermosettingresinsthataresubjectedtoone-sidepanelexposuretospecificenvironments.Ittakesintoconsiderationthecoldwalleffectsandradiationlossesofheattransferthroughthelaminatewall.1.2ThistestmethodissupplementaltoPracticeC581anddoesnotsupersedeit.Note1-ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
