【摘要】:Thevolatilematterofpetroleumcokeaffectsthedensityofcokeparticlesandcanaffectartifactsproducedfromfurtherprocessingofthecoke.Thevolatilemattercanbeusedinestimatingthecalorificvalueofcoke.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthevolatilematterproducedbypyrolysisorevolvedwhenpetroleumcokeissubjectedtothespecificconditionsofthetestmethod.1.2Theinterlaboratorystudyforprecisioncoveredmaterialswithavolatilematterconcentrationrangingfromabout8to16%.1.3Sampleshavingathermalhistoryabove600x00B0;Careexcluded.1.4Thistestmethodisempiricalandrequirestheentiretestproceduretobecloselyfollowedtoensurethatresultsfromdifferentlaboratorieswillbecomparable.1.5Thistestmethodisnotsatisfactoryfordeterminingde-dustingmaterialcontent.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
