【摘要】:Theflexuralpropertiesevaluatedbythistestmethodareintendedtoprovideanyoneorallofthefollowing:5.1.1Dataonthecomparativeeffectsoffire-retardantchemicalformulationsandenvironmentalconditionsontheflexuralpropertiesofplywood.5.1.2Dataforuseindevelopingmodificationfactorsfortheallowabledesignpropertiesoftreatedplywoodwhenexposedtoelevatedtemperaturesandhumidities.5.1.3Datacomparingvariables,suchasotherplywoodspeciesanddimensions.Resultsobtainedfromtestsconductedandanalyzedinaccordancewiththeproceduresofthistestmethodmaybeusedwithotherinformationtoestablishrecommendedroofsheathingspansforfire-retardanttreatedplywood.Note18212;Temperatureslowerthanthetesttemperaturespecifiedinthistestmethodandthecumulativeeffectsoftheelevatedtemperaturesandhumidityexposuresexpectedtobeencounteredinserviceshouldbetakenintoaccountwhenrecommendedroofsheathingspansareestablished.1.1Thistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminetheeffectofexposuretohightemperaturesandhumiditiesontheflexurepropertiesoffire-retardanttreatedsoftwoodplywood.Inthistestmethod,plywoodisexposedtoatemperatureof77176;C(170176;F).1.2Thepurposeofthetestmethodistocomparetheflexuralpropertiesoffire-retardanttreatedplywoodrelativetountreatedplywood.Theresultsoftestsconductedinaccordancewiththistestmethodprovideareferencepointforestimatingstrengthtemperaturerelationships.Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovideanacceleratedtestatelevatedtemperaturesandcontrolledhumiditiesofplywoodsheathingtreatedwiththesamechemicalformulation(s)andprocessingconditionsasplywoodusedcommercially.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
